Designed: July 2010

I set myself a project to design a new book cover for Roald Dahl's Charlie & the Chocolate Factory (you may have heard of it), which subsequently turned into five separate covers.

Each cover represents one of the five children who visit the factory. The key is a metaphor of 'access to' or 'unlocking of' the factory, with each key-hold containing an image/pattern in reference to the child's eventual downfall - or in Charlie's case, his success.
